Finishes

Feature colour walls with stainless steel. Skirting. Colour to be selected from the Connected Globe Colour Range
Long strip of glazing at eye level.
Walls above sink to be grey laminate finish. Flooring to be grey flecked pattern linoleum finish.
Cupboard doors to be blue laminate.
Kitchen worktops to be grey granite affect Laminate Sink unit and taps to be stainless steel.
Café furniture to be maple veneer table and maple veneer chairs on chrome glider legs.

 

 

Breakout points are located on the main office floor and consist of partial height walls enclosing a self-service refreshment area.Tea and Coffee making facilities along with a refrigerator, sink with hot and cold water, storage cupboards, cutlery drawers and a dishwasher should all be included. It is recommended that these areas feature bright colour with a glazed strip as a design feature.

At least one oasis should be provided for every 50-100 members of staff.These areas should also include café type furniture allowing staff the opportunity to breakout from their work and encourage interaction. They are ideal locations for notice boards for staff and informal meetings.
